Korda Zig Magnet
There is little more awkward than trying to cast a long hook link when fishing zigs, and worrying about it getting tangled up in something behind you, or the hook point knocking against something and being damaged.
The Zig Magnet completely solves this problem, and this simple device is screwed into a bankstick, positioned behind you in a suitable place for casting, and then your hook is stuck to it via the magnetic head, and only releases when you cast.
This completes alleviates any concern about what your hook or hook link could be getting tangled up in behind you, and it keep everything well clear of the ground.
The bright green plastic head has a flat, magnetic surface which your hook will stick to easily, and this is on a ball joint so that it can be pivoted to the desired angle.
The screw thread on the bottom of it will fit into any standard bankstick. Key features

Korda Armakord 85lb XT
This braided leader material is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant, making it a great choice of shock or snag leader material.
It is thin for its breaking strain and as well as being tough, it is also supple enough that it casts very well when being used as a shockleader, such as when spodding.
It is more buoyant than the Arma-Kord Sinking version which we also sell, and in some situations this makes it more suitable as a snag leader as well – such as when fishing over tree stumps or similar snags close to the bottom, where you don’t want something that sinks too far in amongst them.
For even more extreme fishing in Europe there is an 85lb breaking strain XT version.
There is 20m of Arma-Kord on each spool.
