Korda Needle Braided Hair Needle Part of our comprehensive range of baiting tools, the Braided Hair Needle is, as the name implies, for use with braided hook link materials, or any sort of braided hair material. It is sharp and strong enough that it can be pushed through any baits without splitting them, and the ‘crook’ design will allow a hair loop to be pulled through the bait without the needle getting caught up in the fibres of the braid. The latched gate ensures that the hair remains attached to the needle whilst it is being pulled through the bait, but is then easily released. The Heavy Latch Needle is 7cm long, very strong, and features a hi-viz green handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. The Slicing Needle features a gated latch that closes sufficiently tightly that it will help to grip a tag end whilst it is being pulled through a splice to create a loop, and with no danger of the needle getting stuck in the fibres of the material being spliced. As well as for splicing, this 7cm long needle also comes in useful for threading baits onto PVA stringers. It features a hi-viz orange handle to prevent loss, and its ergonomic design means it is very easy to grip and use, even with cold or wet hands. Whether you are using a braided or monofilament hook link material, the loop at the swivel end is easily held in place via the latched gate whilst a PVA stick is threaded onto your rig.
