As anglers we must all look after our catch, and recognise that the fish in our venues are a valuable asset that must be treated with the utmost respect whilst on the bank.
With this in mind, Gardner have implemented some key improvements to our hugely successful Safety Sling Unhooking Mat design to offer the highest level of protection for the fish in our care.
The XL Safety Sling Unhooking Mat retains the useful attributes and versatility of the original Safety Sling Unhooking Mat, like strong webbing handles and complete coverage of the ground with the foam as there are no gaps between the two halves of the unhooking mat when laid out – for complete protection.

High quality 40mm foam filling offers more protection on all types of surface if the fish flaps whilst being unhooked/photographed.

ESP Quickdraw Unhooking Mat
Available in two sizes, Compact and Large, the mats are generously padded, with a soft, wipe clean contact surface and tough camo outer material, the same as used on our luggage range.
They feature reinforced webbing carry handles making it easy to transport the carp back to the water after weighing and photos, and when returning the fish, the drawcord at one end can be slackened off to easily slide the carp back into the water.
Drainage holes in each corner minimise the collection of water within the mat when the sides are raised.
The Compact mat is aimed at the short session / travel light angler and is perfect for carp up to over 30lb.
The Large mat will accommodate monster carp.
The mats roll up nice and tight for transit and storage and include buckles for easy attachment to the Quickdraw Rucksack.

Nash Hi-Protect Cradle Camo
The Hi Protect Camo Cradles instantly allow you to choose whether they retain water or not, either for personal preference or to keep you within fishery rules.
The free draining mesh base features an additional Velcro secured 210D nylon water retention panel, added or removed in seconds.
Increased leg extension on both models now allows you to keep carp low to the ground or to raise the cradle so you can sit with your legs beneath the cradle and hold carp directly over the cradle and your own lap to avoid back strain when handling big carp.

Korda Basix Carp Cradle
The BASIX Carp Cradle has been designed to offer the maximum protection to your catch when it is on the bank, whilst at the same time being practical to use and carry.
It is made from 50mm padded foam to provide plenty of cushioning, with a waterproof outer layer that is designed to be fish-friendly when wet and won’t remove the fish’s protective slime.
The padded walls help ensure that your catch stays safe and within its confines. When not in use the BASIX Carp Cradle folds in two, and there is space to store a Carp Care Kit and Basix Weigh Sling inside.
The carry handles can also be used to peg it down once you’re in a swim to prevent any risk of it blowing away.
The BASIX Carp Cradle is suitable for carp up to 40lb/18kg.
