The Basix Carp Cradle XL is the bigger brother of the extremely popular standard version.
We’ve changed the dimensions, added a couple of new features but essentially, it’s the same top-quality product, at a very competitive price.
The Basix Carp Cradle XL has been designed to offer the maximum protection to your catch when it is on the bank, whilst at the same time being practical to use and carry.
It is made from 70mm high-density padded foam to provide plenty of cushioning, with a waterproof outer layer that is designed to be fish-friendly when wet and won’t remove the fish’s protective slime.
The padded walls help ensure that your catch stays safe and within the confines of the cradle. When not in use the Basix Carp Cradle folds in two, and there is space to store a Carp Care Kit and Basix Weigh Sling inside.
The carry handles can also be used to peg it down once you’re in a swim to prevent any risk of it blowing away.
The XL version features an additional loop on the underside which will accommodate a weigh sling or a two-piece landing net.
The Basix Carp Cradle XL is suitable for carp up to 60lb/32kg.

Korda IQ Ready Tied D-Rig
The IQ D-rig doesn’t really need much introduction as it has been a favourite of Danny Fairbrass and Ali Hamidi for many years, and has appeared countless times on Thinking Tackle, Masterclass and Monster Carp.
If you struggle to tie perfect D-rigs yourself, then these ready-tied rigs are the perfect solution, as they are tied exactly how Danny or Ali would construct them.
They feature a Kurv Shank hook to IQ2, which is almost invisible in water and has enough suppleness that it will sit neatly on the lake bed, and at the other end is a size 8 Ring Swivel, to provide plenty of movement.
Each rig comes with free Extenda Stops, so that it can be used with pretty much any size of bait.
The size 8 is tied on 10lb IQ2; size 6 to 12lb; size 4 to 15lb; and size 2 to 20lb. You get one rig per packet. Micro Barbed and barbless versions available.

Korda Bait Up Method Feeder
The Method is something which is often overlooked when it comes to targeting larger carp, but it can be an extremely effective way of targeting fish of all sizes – and not just carp, as it works for specimen bream, tench, chub and barbel as well.
This is an improved version of our original Bait-Up feeder, with a tri-lobe design and with one of these ‘fins’ being heavier than the other two, it ensures that it lands the right way up every time, with your hookbait on top of the ball of groundbait.
Its shape enables it to easily be packed into a ball of groundbait and for it to grip to it, and the shield at the front helps to prevent the ball breaking up in flight.
The shape and weight distribution also helps it to accurately be cast long distances, and on the retrieve it planes up off the bottom and the amount of spin is minimal, thus reducing line twist.
There is a rubber insert in the nose, into which a size 8 swivel fits perfectly, and a Tail Rubber makes for a neat, tangle-free finish at the other end.
It is available in 50g or 35g versions.
