If you want to combine a helicopter rig with leadcore, and prefer to use a pre-tied leader, then the Heli Leadcore Leader is the perfect option.
Each leader is tied to exact specifications on our 50lb Kable Leadcore and is as good as you can do yourself, offering a completely safe way to fish this set-up.
These 1m long leaders can be used either for fishing with a conventional hook link, or with a chod rig, and are constructed using our Leadcore Chod Safety System.
This system features a No-Trace bead, which ensures that your hook link comes free from the leader in the event that your main line breaks, and will easily pass over the leader knot.
The Heli Leadcore Leader has a Kwik Link and Helicopter Sleeve at one end – so that you can quickly attach a lead to it – and a spliced loop at the other end to make it easy to attach your main line. Each pack contains three leaders.Key features

Korda Dark Matter Tungsten Coated Braid
This coated braid is super-heavy thanks to tungsten granules which have been added to the tough outer coating.
This ensures that the Dark Matter Coated Hooklink stays pinned to the lake bed, but is still supple enough that it will also follow the contours.
The coating is tough enough that it doesn’t split when knotted and create unwanted hinges, but is easily stripped wherever you want to access the supple, inner braid.
This is a semi-stiff coated braid, so lends itself to a vast variety of different rigs, and is tough enough to stand up fishing in weedy or snaggy situations.

Korda Arma Kord Braid
This braided leader material is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant, making it a great choice of shock or snag leader material. It is thin for its breaking strain and as well as being tough, it is also supple enough that it casts very well when being used as a shockleader, such as when spodding.
It is more buoyant than the Arma-Kord Sinking version which we also sell, and in some situations this makes it more suitable as a snag leader as well – such as when fishing over tree stumps or similar snags close to the bottom, where you don’t want something that sinks too far in amongst them.
It comes in a low-vis brown colour and a choice of 30lb or 50lb breaking strains.
There is 20m of Arma-Kord on each spool.

Korda LongChuck Clear
The new Long Chuck main line has been designed specifically for fishing at long range and will add extra yards to your cast compared to a standard mono.
It is ultra-low stretch to enable quicker compression of the rod blank, and alongside the fact that it has very low water absorption, it also helps when trying to feel the lead down at range or in a cross wind.
That low water absorption also helps ensure that the line stays lightweight and stays in the air for longer, thus helping to lower the drag on the lead during flight, but the biggest factor in achieving that is the fact that the line is clear – adding a dye to a mono line increases the weight, as well as altering the molecular structure and creating more stretch, all of which means that coloured lines won’t cast as far.
Long Chuck also features a high breaking strain to diameter ratio, which significantly reduces both the drag and the weight of the line.

Since featuring on the Korda Underwater series filmed at Norton Disney, the buzz around these Shot on the Hook weights has been immense and there’s been a massive resurgence around the use of this rig since the film was launched.
The Shot on the Hook improves the hooking potential of any wafter, bottom bait or snowman rig, essentially creating a heavier point to enable the hook to grab hold, ensuring quick and efficient hook holds, turning more pick-ups in to bites.
These hook attachments are created from pure tungsten, which provides an exceptional density-to-volume ratio. This high density, pure tungsten allowed us to achieve substantial weight while using minimal material, creating a compact yet appropriately weighted Shot on the Hook.
This reusable pure tungsten shot can be used over and over. It features a small rubber moulding that fits over the hook point to secure your shot in place. When it's time to switch hooks, simply slide it off if you're using barbless hooks, or if you're using barbed hooks, crush the barb first before removing.

The Shot on the Hook comes in three sizes; 0.30g, 0.40g and 0.50g and are supplied in a convenient slide top storage compartment to keep them safe and secure in your tackle box, with ten shot per packet.
DF's Insight: I would personally recommend the small 0.3g version for hook sizes 8, 6 and 4 with small baits up to 14mm. For slightly bigger baits of around 16-18mm and hook sizes 6, 4 and 2 my choice would the 0.4g Shot on the Hook.
For those anglers using larger hooks and big baits of 20 and 24mm diameter we’ve got the 0.5g version. The idea is that the lighter the bait the less force the carp will use to suck them in. Using the lighter shot will give it more opportunity to get in the fish's mouth.
