When OMC first started Ali Hamidi’s sister (nicknamed Sunny) asked “will you do scissors one day?” Ali replied…”I hope we can one day if we can produce a truly exceptional pair”…so up stepped the mercurial lover of detail Mike Hutchison our Product Development Manager who has spent nearly 2 years testing, various designs & blades across all of the likely fishing situations we face to ensure we have a pair of scissors that are not only super sharp, but also have the extra durable blade technology to give you maximum bang for your buck!

Drennan Loaded Visi Wag 4
The VisiWag 4 is a classic Loaded Insert waggler ideal for short to medium distances. Peacock Quill is fast being replaced by modern, hi-tech alternatives such as those used for the Visi Wags.
It is available in 5 sizes ranging from 1g (1 1/2BB) through to 2g (2 1/2AA). The Float includes a distinctive 3mm Visi Wag banded Hollow Tip which are strong, buoyant and really exaggerate bites.
This waggler is ideal for fishing on stillwaters or slow to moderately paced rivers targeting fish at all levels of the peg.
Each float in the range has been designed so that you can change from one size to the other without changing your shotting pattern.
The Visi Wag 4 takes five No.8 shot when set up in conjunction with four Float Stops (two either side) and a Swivel Float Attachment.
Korda Chod Rigs Long
The Chod Rig is an extremely effective set-up for fishing over debris on the bottom whilst knowing that your hookbait will always be presented in a way that a carp can still take it, and is a great option for casting to where you’ve seen fish showing, without causing loads of disturbance trying to find a clear spot.
But it can be quite fiddly to tie, and this ready-tied version takes all the hassle out of it and gives you something that must anglers would struggle to tie better.
The components and knots used are exactly the same as those favoured by Danny Fairbrass, utilising our Mouth Trap hook link material and Choddy hooks.
Two different versions are available, Long or Short, depending on what type of presentation you are looking to achieve, with Short often being favoured on a naked chod set-up.
Each Chod Rig is finished with a Ring Swivel to allow them to be threaded directly onto your main line or leader.

Drennan Crystal Waggler
Drennan Crystal Wagglers are a large family of straight, tubular models that are ideal for shallow or clear water where the fish can be ‘float shy’.
Drennan Crystal Wagglers are just as buoyant as peacock quill, consistent, accurate, cast well and fish well.
A big range of sizes from just 0.4g (2 No4) to 3.2g (2 Swan) means that they can be used for anything from ‘laying on’ in shallow margins to fishing across the river or lake.
As with all wagglers, they are designed to be attached bottom-end only.

However, with carefully tied, mechanically superior knots like the five turn grinner, average breaking strains can be significantly increased.

Korda Safezone Camo Leader Ring Swivel
These fused leaders have integral sections of tungsten, ensuring that they stay pinned to the lakebed and help to avoid spooking fish.
The Ring Swivel Leader simply comes with one of our size 8 Ring Swivels fused onto one end of it, and with a fused loop at the other end for easy attachment, and detachment, from your main line – the simplest way is to attach it loop-to-loop style.
It is the perfect choice for helicopter set-ups and can easily be adapted to fit a Heli-Safe System, plus as long as you moisten the leader first, our Inline Leads, Lead Clips, Running Rigs, and even Bait-Up Method Feeders can easily be slid down the leader to the Ring Swivel, and located in place.
The 1m length Dark Matter material used for these leaders is very abrasion resistant and has a breaking strain of 30lb.
There are also 50cm and 30cm versions if you require a shorter leader - such as for long range casting.
The leader can easily be matched to the lakebed as there is a choice of different colours: Clear, Weed, Gravel, Clay or Silt.

Korda Solidz PVA Leader
As the name suggests, these leaders are designed specifically for use with Solidz PVA bags.
They are constructed from 1ft of 50lb Kable leadcore, to ensure that everything stays pinned to the bottom, with a Size 8 Ring Swivel spliced at one end (if you prefer you can cut the ring off and just use it as a normal swivel) – which ensures they work perfectly with an inline lead and the swivel properly locates into the nose of it.
They come complete with a tail rubber to fit onto the inline lead, and at the other end there is a spliced loop, with the loop-to-loop method being the best way of attaching them – this means that you can have these leaders ready to go with a PVA bag already tied, and simply loop off one leader and put the fresh one on, and be ready to cast back out in a matter of seconds. Korda Beads
Originally designed for use with our Flying Backleads, where they sit above the leader knot and prevent the backlead from sliding all the way down to the lead.
These soft rubber beads are also perfect for helicopter set-ups, including chod rigs, as they have a tapered bore which helps them to easily pass over leader knots.
The beads are also great for use with a shocker rig, positioned between the lead and the backstop.
They can also be used to protect knots and act as a buffer, as the tapered bore allows the knot to be located inside of the bead.
They come in a choice of Muddy Brown or Weed Green, 4mm or 5mm, in packs containing 25 beads.

Drennan Swivel Stop Bead
Swivel Stop Beads are an effective anti-tangle stop for all running lead and feeder rigs.
The rubber bead is designed to house the top ring and barrel of the swivel and leave the bottom ring protruding and free to rotate.
Using a five-turn grinner knot in the following reel lines, the knot will fit neatly inside the bead.
Each pack contains eight swivels and eight beads
Size 14 Bead/Swivel for up to 5lb (0.22mm) line

Drennan Supplex Fluorocarbon 50m
Supplex Fluorocarbon is available in no less than 12 accurate diameters and breaking strains, from 0.075mm (0.9lb) right up to 0.30mm (10lb).As it is made from 100% fluorocarbon, it is exceptionally abrasion resistant, sinks well and doesn’t degrade in sunlight, as standard mono can.
It also has a very similar refractive index to water, making it almost invisible in clear water.
Fluorocarbon is also less prone to spinning up on the retrieve compared to standard mono, making it a great choice for when you are continually casting out and reeling in.
Each size comes on a convenient 50m spool that shouldn’t take up too much room in your tackle box.
In clear water and when bites are at a premium, Supplex Fluorocarbon can make all the difference!
