Korda Kamakura Choddy Hooks
The Kamakura sharpening process produces a hook point which is every bit as good as a hand-sharpened hook, but without you having to go to all the time and effort involved in doing it yourself.
The Kamakura Choddy hook has been specifically designed for use with stiff hook links and rig presentations such as the chod rig or hinged stiff rig, but it can also be used with other pop-up presentations as well.
It has an out-turned eye, to help give a continuous curve from the hook link to the hook when using stiff presentations, and the rest of its shape is based upon the iconic Wide Gape pattern, albeit in a slightly thicker wire.
It is an incredibly strong hook, with a slightly curved point, and the barb is of a size that doesn’t hinder penetration, but once in, helps the hook stay securely in place.
The points are protected by a blob of wax which needs to be carefully removed before use, and they come supplied in a box which holds each individual hook securely in place – you get ten hooks in each box.Key features

Korda Long Shank X Hooks
This hook was based on the popular, original fly hook patterns, which found favour with carp anglers due to their shape and hooking ability – but this is a much stronger and sharper version of that pattern.
This pattern is one of the original styles of hook in carp fishing, but is still just as effective today with modern rigs, thanks to a 20 degree in-turned eye, long shank and straight point, which ensures that it flips over and takes a hold very easily, ensuring consistently good hookholds.
The Longshank X is also very strong and can stand up to being used on snaggy and weedy waters, thanks to the forging on the bend and the gauge of wire used.

Korda Klor Hook
The Klor hook pattern was designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong, fast turning hook with brilliant hooking potential with a variety of rigs.
It is incredibly strong and proven to be able to withstand fishing for big carp in extreme conditions, both at home and abroad.
The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more so than our Kurv Shank hook), with the point in line with the eye, and this encourages it to turn quickly and take hold in the mouth of a carp.
It is suitable for use with all manner of rigs, including the Combi Rig and Spinner Rig presentations, and with bottom baits, pop-ups and wafters.
The point is long, ultra-sharp and slightly in-turned which makes it far less likely to be damaged by nuisance species, such as crayfish and small fish, moving it around on the bottom, especially when fishing over gravel.
The wire is a heavy gauge, and this results in a very strong hook which can be used in weedy or snaggy conditions, even when using braid, without fear of it bending out.
During testing Danny landed carp to over 60lb from wild, French waters that were full of snags.
Despite the thickness of the wire, the point remains very sharp and the whisker barb, once the hook goes in, will ensure it stays in place.

It is well documented at just how dangerous this can be.
As part of Korda’s drive to raise awareness of the dangers of overexposure to the sun, we set about working with a professional pharmaceutical company to develop our own high strength sunscreen designed with anglers in mind.
Korda factor 50+ high protection sunscreen uses an advanced dermatologically tested formula that provides water resistant protection against harmful UVA & UVB rays and is supplied to the NHS, MOD and RNLI to mention a few.
The formula is unfragranced, fortified with vitamin E and comes in handy, tackle bag 50ml sized tubes.
Korda Hybrid Lead Clips
Since its release, the Hybrid Lead Clip has established itself as the best clip on the market. It has one very simple purpose, and that's to help you ditch the lead if the fish you hook becomes snagged.
The design features an integrally moulded Ring Swivel, ensuring that the swivel simply cannot pull free from its housing.
This forces lead ejection in the event of it becoming jammed, meaning that carp can be landed easily in weedy, snaggy conditions.

Korda Touchdown 1000m Mainline
Touchdown main line obtained its name as a result of the increased amount of ‘feel’ that it gives you when your lead hits the bottom.
Knowing that you are fishing on an area where you can present a bait effectively, and being able to get a drop that you are happy with, are essential, and this is achieved by getting a good ‘drop’ when you feel your lead down to the bottom.
That has been achieved by reducing the amount of stretch in this monofilament main line, whilst still maintaining a high degree of abrasion resistance and good casting performance.
It also sinks very well and has a high knot strength, making it a great choice for use in any fishing situation. It comes in a choice of low visibility green or brown, so that it can be matched to the type lakebed and water colouration on the venues you are fishing.

Korda Zig Float Kit
Adjustable zigs are an incredibly effective way of fishing this method as they allow you to vary the depth that they are set at without the need to recast, and when fishing them a long way off of the bottom they make it far easier to land a fish, and cast out, than with a traditional zig.
The Zig Kit includes everything that you need to set up the perfect adjustable zig and to fish it in an effective and tangle-free way.
The precision, blow-moulded inline float features a soft rubber insert which holds a size 11 QC Swivel, and it also comes with an anti-tangle sleeve supplied – this allows you to ensure that your hook link isn’t twisted at all before you cast out, and this is essential to ensure that it works properly once it is in the water.
The Zig Kit also comes supplied with a stem to attach your lead to and which allows the float to easily be popped up and adjusted as desired.
The stem is constructed features a large ring to allow your main line to run through it freely and a foam polyball to keep this ring clear of any debris on the bottom, and at the other end of it is a ball bearing swivel with a Kwik Link, which allows rapid rotation and helps prevent tangles.
All you need to add is a hook length and bait, and a piece of dissolvable foam, and you’re ready to cast out!

Korda Mini Heli-Safe
The Mini Heli-Safe is a scaled down, compact version of the original and retains all of the features that helped to make it such a huge success… plus a few more.
It still works in exactly the same way, which was revolutionary when the Heli-Safe first hit the market.
We were able to arm anglers with a way to fish any helicopter style presentation, but with the ability to drop the lead as soon as a fish was hooked.
This was a massive advantage in weedy or snaggy situations, or when using set-ups such as chod rigs.
The Heli-Safe also allowed anglers to fish in this way quickly and effectively, simply by attaching a lead to the system, and the product did the rest, releasing the lead as soon as your hook link swivel pulled against the top of the bead.
Technology has moved on since then, and we have managed to make the system much smaller, which not only makes it less obtrusive on the lake bed; but also reduces drag through the air and will improve your distance when fishing at extreme range; as well as making it less likely to get caught in weed or snags during the fight, once the lead has been jettisoned.
Aside from being more compact, the biggest difference to the original is that it now has three different ways that it can be set – it comes fitted with the normal tensioning spring that you will be familiar with from the original and which allows the lead to be dropped as soon as there is any pressure on the top of the Heli-Safe; but is also now supplied with a red spring which requires significantly more pressure to be applied before it ejects the lead, and is perfect in situations where you only need to get rid of the lead on the odd occasion and the lake is fairly clear of weed and snags; it also still comes with a collar, like the original, that prevents the lead from being ejected at all.
The Mini Heli-Safe comes supplied with a size 11 half barrel swivel and can either be fished naked or with leadcore. Despite its smaller size, it is still incredibly strong and can withstand the force of using any of the leads in our range, even when casting extreme distances.

Korda Textured Square Pear Swivel Lead
This lead design came about as a result of what Danny Fairbrass observed during the filming of Underwater Part Four, and he wanted to create the most condensed shape possible, so that the fish moved the minimum possible distance before feeling the full weight of the lead.
The most condensed shape is actually a ball, but a lead of this shape isn’t practical for carp fishing as it rolls and is prone to tangles – so Danny made the sides square and gave the back end of the lead a taper to help prevent the hook link tangling around it, and thus the Square Pear lead was born.

Our specially designed High Grip Hook Beads are made with an increased surface area which means a large percentage of the bead is in contact with the shank of the hook.

SmallThe Mini Rig Safe is a more compact version of the original Rig Safe, but will still hold 60 pre-tied rigs.
The ridged aluminium bar is designed to keep your rigs in place during transit and the recess underneath ensures that your hook point can’t be accidentally damaged.
The durable foam boards will take either single or double pins – supplied – to allow the storage of finished rigs with a swivel or loop at the end, or ones that are yet to be finished off and tied to the desired length.
It is made from rigid plastic with a soft-touch rubber coating and a magnetic locking system to prevent it opening during transit.

LargeThis is a larger version of our original Mini RigSafe and is designed for anyone who either wants to take more pre-tied rigs with them, or who likes to use longer hook links. It holds a huge number of rigs – up to 90, thanks to one side of the case being double-ended, with ridged hook-retaining aluminium bars at either end.
It is constructed from rugged, moulded plastic with a soft-touch rubber finish, and is closed via a magnetic locking device that prevents any chance of it opening accidentally.
The ridged aluminium bars, along with a recess below them, have been designed to hold hooks securely in place without any chance of damaging the points, and a pin is used to attach the other end of your rig to the robust high density foam boards – or a double pin can be used for unfinished hook links with no swivel or loop, or rigs that are long than 12 inches and need to be doubled up on the boards.
The outside of the Large RigSafe also features markings up to 30cm and 12 inches, to help you tie your rigs to the perfect length.
