ESP Onyx Quickdraw Landing NetThe Quickdraw Twist-Lock landing net has a two piece telescopic high modulus carbon handle which retracts to 44” long (the same length as a 9’ Quickdraw rod) and extends to just over 6 foot.
The twist-lock mechanism within the handle allows it to be locked at any point within its overall length, making it ideal for all round use when fully extended, or shortened down for restricted close quarters or boat work.
The net comes with stiff, lightweight 42” arms and a super strong but lightweight stainless spreader block which we machine in our Oxford factory.
The deep mesh is perfect for retaining fish in the margins for short periods.Features:
Lightweight rigid twistlock handle
Retracts to 44" (112cm) and extends to 6'3" (1.90m)
UK made stainless spreader block
42" arms with deep olive mesh
ESP Tapered Shockleaders
Tapered shock leaders are designed specifically for long range distance casting with big leads.
Tapered Leaders greatly reduce stretch and means that all the casting power is transmitted directly to the lead for greater distance. Their ultra slick surface finish means they absolutely fly out through the rings.
When using a standard 12ft rod the 9-metre leader equates roughly to three or four turns on the reel spool plus the length of the rod above the reel, plus a 5ft or 6ft casting drop down from the tip ring.
Features:
15lb to 40lb (0.37mm to 0.59mm)
3 x 9-metre leaders
Not just tapered nylon, but an advanced low stretch polymer with a super slick finish
Low friction surface simply flies through the rod rings

ESP Ejector Lead Clip Size 9
Ejector Lead Clips can be fixed securely to the swivel by means of the locking peg. This prevents them from riding up the line or leader and ensures the lead will always eject first.
Due to the spring-like properties of the lead retaining arm, the lead will often eject as soon as a carp bolts.
This usually results in the carp rising up in the water, making it relatively easy to play the fish above weed beds and other obstacles.
These clips are ideal when targeting single big carp where early release of the lead can be a distinct advantage.
They are not ideal for distance casting with PVA Bags where the lead might disengage on impact, or for weed free 'runs waters' where multiple carp or tench are caught as this can result in too many leads being lost.
Each pack contains:10 x Ejector Lead Clips10 x tail rubbers10 x swivel locking pegsPlus peg remover tool

ESP Tungsten Loaded Beads
The trusty old ESP 5mm rubber beads have been a staple component for helicopter and chod set ups on leadcore since 1999 and now they have been given the heavyweight tungsten treatment with the introduction of Tungsten Loaded beads.
These are four times heavier than the rubber versions (the difference is really noticeable) while still remaining soft and flexible.
The three matt colours of weedy green, camo brown and silt grey complement the different ESP leadcore colours perfectly.
Designed to be mounted on leadcore on a short section of 0.5mm silicone tube which is supplied with the beads.
This provides a safe set up where the bead can come off the silicone tube and pass over the leader knot in the event of a break-off, releasing the hook link.
Each packet contains 20 beads and a length of 0.5mm silicone tube, available in weedy green, camo brown and silt grey.
Features:
20 per packet
Heavy
Length of 0.5mm silicone tube
ESP Loaded Lead Clips
Moulded in our own factory, Loaded Lead Clips feature an integrated swivel which is tied to the mainline or leader. There are two swivels available – quick change and uni-link ring swivel to cater for different preferences.
The lead retaining arm is strong enough for big leads but will release the lead when a fish is snagged or at the anglers discretion.
The tail rubbers provide a streamlined, anti-tangle join and are compatible with Tungsten Loaded tubing.
There are eight lead clips and tail rubbers in each pack and they are available in three muted colours (weedy green, camo brown and silt grey) that blend perfectly over a variety of substrates.
Stage stands provide the perfect solution for a stable bank stick set up when fishing on wooden platforms.
ESP stage stands are supplied in pairs of 4 and 6 inch long which extend to 5 ¼ inch and 9 inch.
The different lengths can be located front or back to allow for various angling situations such as a ‘tips up’ or ‘tips down’ set up.
The construction is the same as the highly successful ESP banksticks launched last year, with a hard anodized aluminium outer and solid carbon inner with a securely locking captive thumb screw.
But instead of a point they have a wide diameter stainless foot plate which provides excellent surface contact and grip.
Secured in place with the wood screws and screwdriver supplied, these stage stands create a rock-solid set up on wooden platforms and jetty’s.

ESP Cryogen Para-Point Hooks
The long, fine needle sharp point, further enhanced by the slick Tufflon coating ensures excellent hook holds and the straight eye allows this pattern to be highly versatile as a bottom bait or pop up hook, with or without a kicker.
The straight eye makes it especially effective for a Tungsten Loaded 'D-Rig' where the straight eye acts to increase the gape. The 'Para' has already become a real favourite amongst our testers and looks set to be the 'go to' all-rounder for years to come.
The initial launch of ESP Cryogen hooks in March 2016 caused a massive stir with discerning anglers quickly recognising the distinct technical advantages they offered.
They were the result of over three years of development and field testing which culminated in a new standard in strength and point durability.
New manufacturing techniques including both high temperature and cryogenic tempering have produced significantly stronger hooks with more durable, long life points.
Cryogenic tempering is a process used to improve the molecular structure in steel which in turn reduces stress and improves strength and wear resistance.
It is used in many disciplines with Formula 1 engine parts being a classic example.
Bench tests on initial samples proved to us that the new tempering processes combined with improved designs and heavy forging resulted in hooks that were 25-30% stronger than other PTFE coated carp hooks in the same wire gauge.
We subsequently sent the hooks for independent scientific testing on hardness and tensile strength and the tests carried out confirmed and supported our initial findings.
So rather than having to improve strength by simply increasing wire gauge, new manufacturing processes have allowed us to maintain optimum wire gauges for each size which allow for fine, ultra-sharp needle points which are now more durable than ever.
ESP is now delighted to introduce three new patterns into the Cryogen range, with each type having been developed, tested and 'tweaked' over the last 18 months.
They have proved outstanding in field testing and provide an even greater choice in high-performance, long-lasting carp hooks.
Features:
Three years of development
Cryogenically tempered
Incredibly strong
Durable ultra sharp needle points
Long fine point
Tufflon coated
Micro-barbed
The new ESP Quickdraw 4K retractable rods are built on high modulus blanks with a crisp responsive action and feature a 3K woven finish on the butt and a lighter 1K finish on the tip – hence the name 4K.The full-length hard grade EVA handles are ultra slim and are a perfect snug fit in the largest of the ESP Mini Butt Grips. The handles feature a laser etched butt cap and a black DPS reel seat with a neat flared burnt cork trim above the handle to provide a classic, understated custom built look. The rods include our bespoke moulded line clips which provide the optimum level of grip on the mainline without any damage. These clips provide extra resistance on a take and you can sometimes hear that satisfying ‘crack’ as the line exits the clip with a carp going in the opposite direction! The 4K’s have lightweight stainless twin leg guides with a 40mm butt down to a 12mm tip. The tip guide has an anti-frap frame with a slick Sic ceramic. There are four 10 foot models in the range and they are available in test curves of 3.0, 3.25, 3.5 and a 4.5lb spod / marker rod.The 3.0lb model is perfect for smaller venues and for stalking and is perfect for the angler that likes a mellow playing action but still with plenty of reserves of power in the butt. The 3.25lb is the perfect all-rounder, from fishing under the rod tips to launching a lead into the distance. It has enough power to bully fish in thick weed while still retaining a comfortable playing action. The 3.5lb is a real powerhouse and the rod for consistent distance casting, using PVA bags or for fishing on the continent, especially when using a boat when the shorter length can be a huge advantage compared with a 12’ rod. The 4.5lb spod / marker performs best for distance spodding when combined with a midi spomb which weighs about 6oz when full. This will provide optimum compression of the blank to achieve maximum distance. Of course, larger spods can be used at short to medium range. The blank is also an excellent transmitter when leading around and feature finding. As well as being excellent performers when it comes to catching carp, another big advantage of the 4K’s is their compact packdown length of just 50”. This makes them perfect for small vehicles especially when combined with the Quickdraw rod sleeves which provide ample protection and make multiple rods and accessories easy and comfortable to carry. The Quickdraw 4K’s also offer excellent value for money, check out the RRP’s in the post but these blanks, the build quality and the finish are of a standard you would normally expect to find with a much higher price tag
