Korda Dark Matter Heli-Safe Leader These Dark Matters leaders incorporate our Heli-Safe System and can be fished with any helicopter style set-up, whether that be a conventional hook link or a chod rig. This leader has tungsten collars impregnated into it, to ensure it stays pinned to the bottom. It also incorporates the Chod Safe System which ensures that your hook link can come free of the leader in the event of your main line breaking, and your hook link can be easily attached via a QC Ring Swivel. The DM Heli-Safe Leader comes in a choice of 1m or 50cm lengths, which gives you enough space to move the top bead well up it, such as when fishing it in deeper silt or weed, so as to ensure your presentation is good when using the longer version. Some venues now have rules restricting the maximum length of your leader, and that is where the 50cm version could come into play – it is also great when fishing at long range as it will cast further. The other end of this leader has a fused loop, which your main line can either be tied to, or to allow the leader to easily be taken off, the loop-to-loop method is best. Korda Basix Hair Rig The BASIX Ready Tied Hair Rigs are ready to use straight out of the packet, all you need to do is add either a bottom bait or wafter, and you’re good to go! These rigs are tied using the camo green coloured BASIX Coated Hooklink material, with a small section stripped back by the BASIX Wide Gape hook to allow movement and increase hooking potential. Korda Line Saver Beads This clever bead is aimed specifically at anglers who are fishing naked chod rigs and has been designed to protect your line during the fight. The Liner Saver Bead is made from tungsten impregnated rubber, to ensure it sits flush to the lakebed, and is designed to be used as the bead closest to your lead when using a naked chod. Korda Hybrid Stiff 20lb Hybrid Stiff coated braid can be used with all sorts of different rigs and offers a hook link material that is very stiff with the coating on, but which has a very supple inner braided core which is exposed by stripping the coating. This makes it ideal for easily creating any type of set-up which is some form of combi rig, with stiff and supple sections. Korda Spare Krimps Crimping is a great way to achieve neat, strong connections, especially when you are using stiffer and/or thicker materials which can be hard to knot effectively – plus it allows you to get the hook link length right every time, which is especially useful for chod rigs. These double-barrel Krimps are designed to be used with a variety of different hook link materials, and when used in combination with our Krimp Tool, they will give you a connection that you can rely on every time. You need to ensure that you use a suitable size of Krimp for your choice of hook link – if the Krimp is too big it can slip – and the Small 0.6mm version is perfect for use with materials like Mouth Trap, the 25lb version of Boom, or even stiff coated braids such as Hyrbid. The Large 0.7mm Krimp is for really thick materials, such as 35lb Boom or very heavy mono.
