The unique Explorer Barrow has been designed to be one of the most versatile carp barrows ever released onto the market. Designed with the day session angler in mind the very compact Explorer can also be adjusted for use on longer sessions where bedchairs and extra tackle is needed. The whole concept behind the Explorer is that when fishing short, day sessions the angler can leave the majority of their tackle on a barrow and fish ‘off of the barrow’ so that packing up and moving swims can be done quickly and with little hassle. However, thanks to its clever design with the extendable front barrow bag rack the barrow can quickly be converted to create more space for carrying extra tackle such as a bedchair. This conversion also redistributes the weight when extra items are added to ensure the barrow remains balanced.  The Explorer is packed with features and comes supplied with a drop-in, central Under Barrow Bag that is styled in the Fox Camo pattern along with two mesh storage pockets that sit either side of the wheel, that are perfect for storing items such as a 5ltr water bottle and/or bait. The Explorer has been designed to be the perfect barrow for short, day sessions. Both the central bag and two storage pockets feature zips on their sides allowing for quick and easy access to them without having to take any items off of the barrow. The Mk2 has been updated with our larger new camo pattern fabric and adjustable height handles. The 2nd generation of the market defining Explorer barrow, one of the most versatile carp barrows ever. Extendable front barrow bag rack – this allows the Camolite Barrow Bag (available separately) to sit at the front of the barrow when using the barrow in ‘session mode’ and carrying a bedchair. When fishing days without a bed, simply retract the front rack and turn the Barrow Bag round so it faces you. The design ensure the barrow remains balanced whether in short or long session mode. Height-adjustable, ergonomically shaped, and removable handles. Robust, hi-tensile steel frame that is built to last. Quick release wheel system with pneumatic tyre. Swivelling mud feet with spiked bases. Compact design and packs down very small for fitting in smallest of car boots. Supplied with camo Under Barrow Bag that simply ‘drops in’ to the centre of the frame, which is compatible with the new Fox Camolite luggage. Supplied with two FX Universal Barrow Straps and two mesh storage pockets that sit either side of wheel. Weight 20kg, Packed dimensions – 79 x 61 x 23cm, Packed weight 23kg.

Fox Bolt Bubble Medium Fishing for surface feeding carp can be frustrating at the best of times with standard controllers being either too visible or providing a poor hooking mechanism. The Bolt Bubble is the first bubble style float specifically developed for targeting surface feeding carp. The streamlined, pear drop design pushes the weight forward to make long distance casting easy, while providing a pronounced bolt effect to taking fish.

Bolt Bubbles are designed to sit low, level in the water and due to their transparency and ultra low profile are extremely unobtrusive. The casting weight is easily adjusted via a pair of moulded rubber grommets which plug into the surface of the float. These allow the float to be filled with the required quantity of water for long range casting or increased bolt resistance.

The float is designed to be assembled in-line which together with the front and rear tapered sleeves provides excellent tangle free casting. The hooklink swivel is pulled back into the rubber at the nose of the float to secure it tightly - this provides superb hooking properties while also ensuring the hooklink can pull free in the event of a snag. Bolt Bubbles are supplied with a pair of tapered anti-tangle sleeves which virtually eliminate tangles when pushed over the swivel eye.Product Features Streamlined, pear drop design pushes the weight forward to make long distance casting easy Providing a pronounced bolt effect to taking fish Transparent and ultra low profile are extremely unobtrusive Complete with the correct size swivels and anti-tangle sleeves

If you’re looking for a top-quality reel for all your carp fishing needs then you need to look no further than the Shimano Ultegra XTD reel. As one of the most hotly anticipated releases of 2016, the Shimano Ultegra 14000 XTD and the 5500 XTD are some of the latest in the bestselling Ultegra range. These reels from Shimano feature a multitude of modifications that set it head and shoulders above existing Ultegra reels. Developed with the modern carp angler in mind, this reel is widely considered the best carp reel ever made – and at a staggeringly low price (especially when you consider all the technology at play in this reel) it is no wonder that the Shimano Ultegra XTD has worked up such a storm. The first thing you’ll notice about this reel is its classy carpy finish. Matt black throughout, this is an ultra-minimalistic reel that will look great on any modern carp rod setup. The decision to create a completely matt reel came as a result of Shimano asking its anglers what they looked for in top-end tackle and the team responded to each of the suggestions accordingly. There is also an improved line guard on the Ultegra XTD. Not only does this line guard perform a practical role, preventing the line from getting caught behind the spool, but the new design ensures that it looks great too. The line guard actually tapers into the reel itself and this is an incredibly sexy looking reel. In fact, Shimano consultant Iain Macmillan even boldly claimed that this reel was a crime to fish with, it was so good looking, and instead should be sat upon a bar and bought a drink! The next thing to note about the Shimano Ultegra XTD is its faultless line lay. In fact, this reel boasts the neatest line lay of any existing Shimano product. This is because Shimano has managed to slow down its famously slow oscillation even further: Shimano’s magnesium (MAG) reels have an oscillation rate of 100 coils per turn, whereas the Ultegra XTD only has 50. The slow oscillation theory follows that the slower the line spools up the more precisely it will lay and, in turn, the easier the line will leave the spool on the cast. This is ideal for the distance casting carp angler, as it ensures that you can enjoy flawless distance casts time after time. Another feature of the reel which has been designed with distance casting in mind is its parallel body. Most reels have a spool that faces slightly upwards towards the butt ring. The Shimano Ultegra XTD has been redesigned with a spool that runs perfectly parallel with the rod blank. This stops any line slap on big casts, further aiding the line’s transmission from the spool, along the rod, and towards your target. The reel is supplied with numerous washers, too. This allows you to adjust the way your line goes onto the spool and tailor it to your needs, for example, whether you prefer the line perfectly flat or a tapered line lay. As you will have come to expect from a top-quality Shimano reel the Ultegra XTD is fitted with tonnes of the brand’s top-end technology. This includes the impressive X-Ship. X-Ship is Shimano’s gear housing and it prides itself on its rock-solid construction. This ensures that zero movements happen within the body of the reel, so you’re not wasting energy on unnecessary lateral motions that put stress on the vital internal reel components. This helps to give you greater control when you’re fighting a big fish and all the power you put into your reel handle is transferred into the retrieval. The Shimano Ultegra XTD is available in two sizes; 14000 and 5500 so you can choose the perfect reel for your needs.
