The Pro-Active Particle & Pellet Syrup range has been specifically formulated to draw fish into the baited area and induce a competitive feeding response.
The thick, syrupy liquid is designed to be denser than water - dispersing as it reaches the bottom and spreading a highly attractive cloud back to the surface.
This ensures that fish are attracted from all levels in the water column, as well as from distance.
Pro-Active Particle & Pellet Syrups contain liquid palatant’s, amino’s and natural sugars all of which are highly effective and well-proven feeding stimulants.
The Syrup is convenient, easy to use and completely water soluble – not to mention completely PVA friendly! Meaning you can combine these reliable liquids with any presentation.
Designed to boost the attraction of prepared particles or pellets and to be a highly effective groundbait additive. Recommended dosage is 10mm per 1kg, but the natural attractors used make it impossible to overdose. Suitable for carp, tench, bream and roach.

Korda Longshank Beaked Hooks
The original Korda Longshank X was based on the popular, original fly hook patterns, which found favour with carp anglers due to their shape and hooking ability – we made them much stronger and sharper.
Fast forward 20 years and DF has been tweaking this ultimate carp catcher once again.
Heavily influenced by his underwater experiences, Dan decided to make two major changes to one of his favourite patterns, making it an even deadlier option within his armoury.
The first change was to create the hook with a beaked point.
During testing, the beaked point provided more secure hook holds, increasing the hooked fish to landed ratio significantly.
The other change was to in-turn the eye even further.
The original pattern has a 20 degree in-turned eye, the new beaked version increases this to 40 degrees.
This helps the hook flip and turn extremely quickly in the carp’s mouth, ensuring consistently good hook-holds.
In keeping with the original pattern, the Longshank Beaked is forged, with a stepped-up wire gauge for extra strength, whilst maintaining its durability with a PTFE coating.

Korda Wide Gape X Hooks
This is a really classic pattern of hook and the Wide Gape has accounted for a huge number of big carp captures over the many years since it was first launched.
It is based on an old classic spade end hook pattern from the 1980s and 1990s which found favour with many anglers at the time – the Maruta Kinryu – but we have improved it and made it more user-friendly by switching the spade for an eye.
The Wide Gape features a slightly in-turned eye, with a short shank, heavily forged bend, and very sharp, beaked point.
It can be used with a wide variety of different pop-up and bottom bait presentations, and once it goes in it tends to stay in.
