Reels with a 25mm spool stroke have become the prevailing choice for carp fishing over short and medium distances in the last few years.
The combination of a large and extra-wide spool with a small and compact body allows for the design of lightweight and very tough reels but with an optimum casting performance.
The special design of the LC spool rim has been matched with the properties of the spool taper, allowing for a minimum but required level of line friction on the cast.
This controls the ‘line corridor’ to let the cast flow more easily through the guides as well as reducing back lash.
With the 20´Whisker 25 QD you get a compact and light power reel with the features of a Big Pit.
