Korda Long Shank X Hooks
This hook was based on the popular, original fly hook patterns, which found favour with carp anglers due to their shape and hooking ability – but this is a much stronger and sharper version of that pattern.
This pattern is one of the original styles of hook in carp fishing, but is still just as effective today with modern rigs, thanks to a 20 degree in-turned eye, long shank and straight point, which ensures that it flips over and takes a hold very easily, ensuring consistently good hookholds.
The Longshank X is also very strong and can stand up to being used on snaggy and weedy waters, thanks to the forging on the bend and the gauge of wire used.
Key features
Long shank and inturned eye
Straight, sharp point
Great for snaggy or weedy waters
Drennan Loaded Visi Wag 5
The VisiWag 5 - a set of precision-made wagglers ranging from 1g to 4g loading where each size is designed to carry an extra eight No 8 shot down the line.
Peacock Quill is fast being replaced by modern, hi-tech alternatives such as those used for the Visi Wags.
The unique feature of the Visi-Wag range is that all the different sizes of floats in a particular set carry exactly the same amount of terminal shot down the line.
In the case of these new Visi-Wag 5's, they all take an extra eight No 8 shot regardless of whether they are 1g or 4g loaded.
So if, for example, you change up from a 2g to a longer, heavier 3g model, because the wind has got upper you want to cast a bit further, you have only got to put a new float in the attachment.
The eight No 8 terminal shooting pattern down the line stays the same.
Because the aerodynamic bomb weights themselves are interchangeable, the precise amount of terminal shot fished down the line can also be altered.
So changing a 3g weight for a 2.5g weight increases the amount of terminal shot required.
Korda Klor Hook
The Klor hook pattern was designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong, fast turning hook with brilliant hooking potential with a variety of rigs.
It is incredibly strong and proven to be able to withstand fishing for big carp in extreme conditions, both at home and abroad.
The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more so than our Kurv Shank hook), with the point in line with the eye, and this encourages it to turn quickly and take hold in the mouth of a carp.
It is suitable for use with all manner of rigs, including the Combi Rig and Spinner Rig presentations, and with bottom baits, pop-ups and wafters.
The point is long, ultra-sharp and slightly in-turned which makes it far less likely to be damaged by nuisance species, such as crayfish and small fish, moving it around on the bottom, especially when fishing over gravel.
The wire is a heavy gauge, and this results in a very strong hook which can be used in weedy or snaggy conditions, even when using braid, without fear of it bending out.
During testing Danny landed carp to over 60lb from wild, French waters that were full of snags.
Despite the thickness of the wire, the point remains very sharp and the whisker barb, once the hook goes in, will ensure it stays in place.

Guru Super MWG Bait Bands 4" Rig
The SMWG Bait Band Ready Rigs are the perfect hooklength option when Method, Hybrid and Pellet Feeder fishing on commercial fisheries.
The rigs work perfectly when hair rigging hookbaits like hard pellets, wafters, pop-ups and even baits like maggots.
The rig features an optimum sized Micro Bait Band at the end of the hair rig.
This is intended to be placed around your chosen hookbait.
There is also a tiny piece of 0.3mm Micro silicone on the shank of the hook and hair rig which is there to keep the hookbait in place and make sure the rig is working perfectly.
If you’re struggling to attach your hookbaits by hand, we recommend using our Pellet Pliers which make the process of banding hookbaits quick and easy.
The SMWG Bait Band Ready Rigs are the ultimate commercial hooklength option, suited perfectly to a wide variety of fish species and fishing situations.
This version features the extremely popular SMWG hook, which is PTFE coated, giving a super-sharp, longer lasting point.

Gardner GT-HD Line
GT-HD is manufactured exclusively for Gardner Tackle with a unique high grade copolymer formula using cutting edge manufacturing processes to give the line reduced stretch and a crisp feel without compromising the other key characteristics.
After all, why develop a line that offers exceptional feel if it doesn’t retain the high knot strength, great abrasion resistance, fast sinking and a lovely smooth supple feel that anglers want?
By developing a main line that brings together all of these features ‘GT-HD’ sets a new benchmark in performance copolymer main lines.
And by manufacturing GT-HD in an awesome low-viz colour we’ve created a line that simply out-performs all other low stretch lines in every way.
Available in: 15lb (0.35mm) and 18lb (0.39mm)
Korda Touchdown 1000m Mainline
Touchdown main line obtained its name as a result of the increased amount of ‘feel’ that it gives you when your lead hits the bottom.
Knowing that you are fishing on an area where you can present a bait effectively, and being able to get a drop that you are happy with, are essential, and this is achieved by getting a good ‘drop’ when you feel your lead down to the bottom.
That has been achieved by reducing the amount of stretch in this monofilament main line, whilst still maintaining a high degree of abrasion resistance and good casting performance.
It also sinks very well and has a high knot strength, making it a great choice for use in any fishing situation. It comes in a choice of low visibility green or brown, so that it can be matched to the type lakebed and water colouration on the venues you are fishing.

Drennan Loaded Glow Tip Carp Insert
Glow Tip Carp Wagglers feature our transparent Crystal-style construction with a 6.6mm diameter straight tube in a light brown tint to preserve the Glow Tip effect.
They cast long and straight and have interchangeable, size-engraved bomb weights, which means you can swap to a lighter bomb from another float and put more shot down the line if necessary.
A slightly longer stem below the bomb weight also allows a secure grip with a silicone or swivel float attachment.
Drennan Crystal® floats and interchangeable Combo Tips have been made by the company since the mid-1980s.
They are a bit like angler’s Lego, enabling the angler to make alterations to a float according to the conditions.
Ensuring that a float from today’s tip fits a tip from years ago takes the strictest manufacturing production controls in our plastics processing plant. We believe the difference in the quality of build is obvious to discerning anglers.

Korda Hybrid Lead Clips
Since its release, the Hybrid Lead Clip has established itself as the best clip on the market. It has one very simple purpose, and that's to help you ditch the lead if the fish you hook becomes snagged.
The design features an integrally moulded Ring Swivel, ensuring that the swivel simply cannot pull free from its housing.
This forces lead ejection in the event of it becoming jammed, meaning that carp can be landed easily in weedy, snaggy conditions.
The streamlined, one-piece design means there are no fiddly locking pegs or hinges to worry about - just connect the leader to one end and the rig to the other!
The uprated arm allows leads up to 5oz to be cast safely even at extreme range and the clip is available in all four of the key Safe Zone colours: weedy green, clay, gravel and silt. You get eight in a pack.Key features

ESP Syncro XT Loaded
The XT of Syncro literally stands for extra tough, indicating that this exceptional monofilament is highly abrasion resistant and durable.
Following its launch in 2011, the original ESP Syncro XT mono has grown to become one of the most widely used and well respected top end mainlines available.
And with very good reason, it ticks all the boxes regarding what's required from a top performing carp mono: unbeatable knot strength, optimum stretch, superb abrasion resistance without being wiry and this relative suppleness makes it a front-runner when it comes to distance casting.
Over the intervening period since the initial launch, we have carried on testing various different mono samples and have yet to find anything better than Syncro, which combined all the attributes required. However, during this testing process, we explored different colours having been asked by some of our sponsored anglers for a darker olive green.
So Syncro XT Loaded was born and the anglers that tested it for ESP have been completely sold on it.
Upon casting out it sinks through the surface film virtually unaided until it just hangs from the rod tips.
And if a slack line approach is required it stays that way, lying tight to the bottom to the extent that you can feel it peeling up off the lake bed when winding in.
The dark olive pigment disappears against any lake bed and is actually very difficult to see when suspended off the rod tips, even in tap clear water.
Regarding knot strength, just like the original Syncro XT, the new Loaded is underrated and the following knot strengths can be achieved using a carefully tied five turn grinner.
Although Syncro XT Loaded is limp straight off the spool we recommend soaking it overnight so that it absorbs water and becomes even suppler as it is loaded onto the reel spool.
