It is thin for its breaking strain and as well as being tough, it is also supple enough that it casts very well when being used as a shockleader, such as when spodding. It is more buoyant than the Arma-Kord Sinking version which we also sell, and in some situations this makes it more suitable as a snag leader as well – such as when fishing over tree stumps or similar snags close to the bottom, where you don’t want something that sinks too far in amongst them.
