Our 45lb leadcore is available in Olive Camo to suit gravel or weedy areas. The leadcore is broken up into 100mm alternating colour sections which aids its disappearance on all manner of lake-beds.
Our leadcore has a thinner lead wire than most on the market, making it much more supple, allowing it to lie flush over the contours of the lake-bed.

ESP Tapered Shockleaders
Tapered shock leaders are designed specifically for long range distance casting with big leads.
Tapered Leaders greatly reduce stretch and means that all the casting power is transmitted directly to the lead for greater distance. Their ultra slick surface finish means they absolutely fly out through the rings.
When using a standard 12ft rod the 9-metre leader equates roughly to three or four turns on the reel spool plus the length of the rod above the reel, plus a 5ft or 6ft casting drop down from the tip ring.

This incredibly strong and tough leader material has been specifically designed for use in the most demanding of situations, where snags are a problem.
It is made from a blend of Dyneema and polyester to produce a leader material which can easily be spliced, and which will also absorb water to ensure that it sinks very well.
In addition to being incredibly tough and reducing the chances of being cut-off, it has also been designed so that it is thick for its breaking strain, with the idea being that this will help to prevent it from cutting into submerged trees and stumps – or any type of underwater woodwork – and instead it will rub across it and give you a greater chance of landing a fish in this situation.Key features

These 30cm pre-spliced leaders are constructed with our super supple and fast sinking Sub-Fleck PTFE Leadfree. They feature an extended 2cm spliced loop for ease and speed when looping on pre-prepared bags after a capture. The PTFE coated size 8 Ring Swivel allows the rig to react in all directions. These leaders are ideal for use with inline leads – each leader is supplied with a colour matched camo tail rubber. Simply detach/attach by means of looping on and off by tying a large figure 8 loop knot in the end of your line. Supplied in a pack of 3.

Korda Subline Tapered Leaders 12-40lb*
This is the perfect choice for anyone who prefers to use a monofilament leader, or where braided ones are banned and you have no other choice when fishing at long range.
Attaching a thick mono leader to your main line creates a bulky knot, which not only reduces casting distance, but also makes it prone to crack-offs, due to the differing diameters and stiffness of the two lines that you are joining, and the way they travel through the rod rings.
The SUBline Tapered Leaders prevent any of these problems, as at one end they are the same diameter - and breaking strain - as the main line that you will be using for your long range fishing.
The leader tapers taper up to 40lb at the thicker end, which will take the brunt of even the hardest cast, whilst also offering a bit of stretch when you have a fish under the rod tip.

Korda Armakord 85lb XT
This braided leader material is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant, making it a great choice of shock or snag leader material.
It is thin for its breaking strain and as well as being tough, it is also supple enough that it casts very well when being used as a shockleader, such as when spodding.
It is more buoyant than the Arma-Kord Sinking version which we also sell, and in some situations this makes it more suitable as a snag leader as well – such as when fishing over tree stumps or similar snags close to the bottom, where you don’t want something that sinks too far in amongst them.
For even more extreme fishing in Europe there is an 85lb breaking strain XT version.
There is 20m of Arma-Kord on each spool.
