Korda Square Pear Swivel Lead
This lead design came about as a result of what Danny Fairbrass observed during the filming of Underwater Part Four, and he wanted to create the most condensed shape possible, so that the fish moved the minimum possible distance before feeling the full weight of the lead.
The most condensed shape is actually a ball, but a lead of this shape isn’t practical for carp fishing as it rolls and is prone to tangles – so Danny made the sides square and gave the back end of the lead a taper to help prevent the hook link tangling around it, and thus the Square Pear lead was born.Key features

Korda Lead Clips
Our original Lead Clip was designed to allow your lead to release in situations where you needed it to, such as if you got snagged or a fish went through thick weed.
But the lead won’t come off as easily as it will with our Quick Release Lead Clip, and so avoids unnecessarily dumping leads, unless you really need to for the safety of a fish.
The plastic retaining arm is strong enough to take even the hardest cast with a heavy lead without fear of it breaking, and the back end of the main body of the Lead Clip has grooves which help the Tail Rubber to stay on and only come off when it needs to.
You can alter the ease with which it releases the lead, dependent on how far you push the Tail Rubber onto the body.
To achieve an easy release of the lead, you need to ensure that the Lead Clip can’t run freely on the line, and it is designed such that a size 8 Swivel will fit snugly into the nose of it and will remain in place.
This is a very safe semi-fixed set-up, and if used correctly will ensure that the fish can always get rid of your lead, even if your main line breaks.Key features

Most anglers will have heard of the spinner rig as it has been featured prominently on many of our videos and is a favourite of a lot of our sponsored anglers, but if you don’t have the time or confidence to tie your own, then this ready-tied version is the perfect solution.
It is constructed in exactly the same way as any of our top anglers would do it, and features a 5.5 inch Boom hook link with either a Krank or Kurv Shank hook attached via one of our Spinner Swivels which has been crimped on to provide a very strong connection.
At the other end is a crimped loop which can be attached to any of our quick-change style systems.
The rig can be used multiple times simply by changing the hook, which is very easy to do.

The Quick Change Swivel has been designed to allow you to quickly change your hook link – especially boom-style links with a loop at one end – with as little hassle as possible.
It has been designed to keep metal work to a minimum, featuring an eye like a conventional swivel at one end – it is a size 8 swivel so fits perfectly into the nose of a Lead Clip or an inline lead – and a clip at the other, onto which your hook link is attached and then a Dark Matter Anti Tangle Sleeve is used to keep everything neatly in place.
The QC Swivel has a non-reflective coating and you get eight in a pack.

Korda Bait Floss
This Bait Floss is perfect for tying hookbaits onto your rigs – such as attaching them to a ring or micro swivel – and can either be used to lasso a pop-up in the traditional way, or be threaded through the middle of it with a baiting needle and held in place via a Floss Cap.
Bait Floss is extra strong so that you can properly tighten it without any risk of it snapping, not to mention of baits flying off on the cast, and it is unscented and waxed.

Korda Square Pear Inline Lead
The Square Pear is the most condensed lead design in our range, and this makes it the perfect choice when fishing Solidz PVA bags, as it will neatly fit inside one and help ensure that the weight distribution is correct so that they fly straight.
Its flat-sided design also makes it perfect for fishing on any type of bottom where there is a slope.
The shape also gives this lead fantastic self-hooking qualities, as a carp doesn’t have to move it much to encounter the whole weight of the lead, due to it being so short in length.

Korda Choddy Hooks
This hook has been specifically designed for use with stiff hook links and rig presentations such as the chod rig or hinged stiff rig, but it can also be used with other pop-up presentations as well. I
t has an out-turned eye, to help give a continuous curve from the hook link to the hook when using stiff presentations, and the rest of its shape is based upon the iconic Wide Gape pattern, albeit in a slightly thicker wire.
It is an incredibly strong hook, as Darrell Peck will attest to, having caught carp to over 70lb on the size 8 version.
The slightly curved point is very sharp, and the barb is of a size that doesn’t hinder penetration, but once in, helps the hook stay securely in place.Key features

Korda Kamakura Krank Hooks
The Kamakura sharpening process produces a hook point which is every bit as good as a hand-sharpened hook, but without you having to go to all the time and effort involved in doing it yourself.
The Kamakura Krank has a unique shape, featuring a very wide gape, with quite a short, curved shank into a slightly in-turned eye – the in-turned effect is accentuated by the shape of the shank and the way it sweeps round to the eye.
The point, which is slightly beaked, is offset and this shape helps it to ‘Krank’ its way in once it takes an initial hold.
These hooks are very strong, and feature a micro barb which won’t hinder penetration, but once in, will ensure that the hook stays in place.
A barbless version is also available.
The Krank can be used with a wide variety of different rigs and is incredibly effective even with a simple knotless knot, or it can be used on more complicated set-ups, such as the Spinner Rig which Tom Dove favours himself.
The points are protected by a blob of wax which needs to be carefully removed before use, and they come supplied in a box which holds each individual hook securely in place – you get ten hooks in each box.

Korda Wide Gape X Hooks
This is a really classic pattern of hook and the Wide Gape has accounted for a huge number of big carp captures over the many years since it was first launched.
It is based on an old classic spade end hook pattern from the 1980s and 1990s which found favour with many anglers at the time – the Maruta Kinryu – but we have improved it and made it more user-friendly by switching the spade for an eye.
The Wide Gape features a slightly in-turned eye, with a short shank, heavily forged bend, and very sharp, beaked point.
It can be used with a wide variety of different pop-up and bottom bait presentations, and once it goes in it tends to stay in.

Korda Kwik Change Swivel
The Quick Change Ring Swivel has been specifically designed for use with any helicopter set-up, to allow you to easily change your hook link.
There are two different sizes of QC Ring Swivel available – size 8 or size 11 – with the ring end being designed to be threaded onto whatever type of leader you’re using for your helicopter rig, or your main line if you’re using a naked set-up.
Your hook link can then easily be attached or detached from the clip as long as you use a rig with a loop at the end of it, and everything can be held neatly in place with a Dark Matter Anti Tangle Sleeve, or similar.
The QC Ring Swivels are finished with a non-reflective coating, and each packet contains eight swivels.

Korda Hybrid Tail Rubber
The Hybrid Tail Rubber is designed to be used with our Hybrid Lead Clips in situations where you are using thicker leader materials which create a bulkier knot.
These tail rubbers have a larger internal cavity so that they can be fitted over bulkier knots whilst still fitting neatly onto the lead clip, and allowing the lead to eject when it needs to, without becoming jammed in place – just ensure the clip is moistened before you push the rubber on.
Hybrid Tail Rubbers are available in two colours - Weed/Silt or Gravel/Clay – to blend in with any lake bed, and you get ten in a pack.
