Korda Naked Chod System
The naked chod rig, fished directly on your main line, is an incredibly effective set-up, especially when you don’t want to disturb fish already in front of you, but can’t be sure that it is clear on the bottom, as your hookbait will always be presented in a way that it can be taken by a carp, even if it lands on weed.
It is less obtrusive than one involving a leader, and is also the perfect choice on waters where leaders are banned.
The Naked Chod Safety System is the perfect – not to mention very simple – way to set this up quickly and efficiently and contains all of the components you need, apart from a Size 11 Ring Swivel or Size 11 QC Ring Swivel.
The system comprises of a Rubber Barrel Bead, which goes closest to the lead, and then your Ring swivel is sandwiched between that and a Chod Sleeve - with both components being supplied on a wire retainer which makes it very easy to thread them onto your line, which they will then grip and remain in place at whatever distance you set them above your lead (depending on the type of debris you are fishing over).
The Ring Swivel is prevented from sliding up the line beyond the Chod Sleeve once a hard plastic No Trace Bead is fitted to that. Should your main line break above the Chod Sleeve, then the No Trace Bead – which has a slit in the side of it - easily pops off of it and falls off of your line, allowing the Ring Swivel to come free, and the fish is left with just the hook link.
Each Naked Chod Safety System includes: 3 x Chod Sleeves; 3 x Barrel Beads; and 12 x No Trace Beads. Spare No Trace Beads are also available and are sold in packs of 25.Key features

Korda Kore Kamo TK Cap
This stylish cap features a fully structured crown so that it maintains its shape and is very comfortable to wear.
It has a traditional curved peak which is great for keeping sun and glare out of your eyes when fish spotting.
One size fits all and it can be adjusted via a Velcro fastener at the back.

Korda Kontour Fluorocarbon
This is the ultimate fluorocarbon main line and it took several years for us to find one which we were totally happy with.
It has all the properties that you would expect from a fluorocarbon line, being practically invisible in water and sinking very well.
But Kontour also has fantastic knot strength, and unlike many fluorocarbons, it can also be cast a long way, certainly up to and beyond the 100 yard mark.
It is available in 12lb, 15lb and 18lb, to cover any angling situation where you would want to use it.
Kontour is tough and can stand up to weed and snags very well, and although it costs more than a standard monofilament main line, but what you are getting for the extra money is a top quality fluorocarbon. Kontour comes on 200m spools.Key features

Korda Kable Leadcore Leader Heli-Safe 1m
The Heli-Safe system is brilliant for use with any helicopter style set-up, whether you are using a conventional rig or a chod, and is now available constructed on Kable leadcore and ready to use straight out of the packet.
These leadcore leaders are 1m in length, which makes them perfect for pinning everything to the lakebed and protecting fish from line damage during the fight, but aren’t so long that they adversely affect your casting.
Not only is this a brilliant anti-tangle set up, but it is also very safe for the fish as it incorporates the Mini Heli-Safe System – a more compact version of the original - and ensures that the lead will come off whenever it needs to.
It also incorporates our No-Trace Safety System, which ensures that in the event of your main line breaking, the hook link can easily come free of the leader, and each pack contains two spare No-Trace Beads (these can also be bought separately when you need more).
The top rubber on the No-Trace Safety System can be set close to the lead when fishing over a clean bottom, or moved all the way up to the other end of the leader when fishing over weed or debris, especially with chods.
The Mini Heli-Safe can be set in different ways depending on the fishing situation, with the standard spring releasing the lead under minimal pressure and ensuring it is dropped on the take, which is great in thick weed.
Or that can be replaced by the red spring (two supplied) which is designed for waters which are generally snag and weed free, and where you only want to drop the lead if it does become stuck in something.
There is also the option to add a collar (two supplied) which means that the lead will never be ejected, but in the event of a breakage the fish can still get free due to the No-Trace Safety System.
The use of a size 11 QC Ring Swivel allows you to quickly and easy change rigs, and a spliced loop at one end makes it simple to attach to your main line – loop-to-loop style is simplest and quickest.
The Kable Heli-Safe Leadcore Leaders are available in a choice of Gravel Brown or Weed/Silt, with two per pack, and also come with: 2 x spare No-Trace Beads; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe collars; 2 x Mini Heli-Safe red springs.

Korda Eazi Stick
If you want to spread boilies over a wider area than you can achieve with a spod, and are fishing beyond catapult range, then the Eazi-Stik is the perfect tool for the job.
This J-shaped throwing stick can be used to put boilies a very long way – especially by using the two-handed, over your head technique favoured by Danny Fairbrass, or it can be used conventionally with one hand at shorter ranges.
It is made from ultra-light polycarbonate plastic, so even when putting out a lot of bait it helps reduce fatigue on your arm, and makes the whole process as effortless as possible.
The rubberised, textured handle ensures that you can maintain a firm grip, and also helps prevent twisting during use, which can add spin to a boilie as it leaves the Eazi-Stik and make it go off course – this grip is 8 inches long so that it can be used double-handed.

Korda Black Singlez Buzz Bars
This is a super lightweight version of the original Singlez system, and each part is precision machined from a solid block of aluminium for us by top engineering firm, JAG Products, and then anodised with a super-hard, extremely durable, satin black finish.
It can be used in any type of ground or even on platforms, and two rod and three rod versions are available, with a whole host of different ways of setting them up, thanks to different length uprights and buzz bars, plus you can even turn it into single banksticks if you want to.
The Singlez has literally turned rod support systems upside down, as the buzz bar is at the bottom resting on the ground, thus providing far more stability and allowing it to be pushed into the ground with your feet, and the uprights are screwed into that, providing perfect spacing and ensuring they are all straight – it looks like a multi-rod, single bankstick set-up, but without all the hassle!
Each set of uprights features a spike at the bottom – there is also a Spike Extension to make it longer for use on types of bank where it needs to be pushed further into the ground - that can be pushed into almost any type of ground using your body weight on the bars, and the addition of a Spike Ball Stabiliser provides extra stability.
If you are fishing on platforms, Stage Stands are available and are sold in pairs.

Korda Armakord Sinking Braid
This is a sinking version of our incredibly popular Arma-Kord leader material. Whilst the original version particularly lends itself to use as a shockleader when spodding, Arma-Kord Sinking is more suited to situations where you require any incredibly strong, abrasion-resistant snag or shock leader material for use on your actual fishing rods.
It is the perfect choice for snaggy waters as it will lie on the bottom close to your rig – it should be used in conjunction with our fused leaders, Kable leadcore or rig tubing – and then during the fight with a carp it will help to prevent cut-offs on snags.
It also makes a great shockleader material if you are fishing at long range, as the lack of stretch helps you to properly compress the rod. It comes in a choice of 30lb or 50lb breaking strains on a 50m spool.

Korda Longshank Beaked Hooks
The original Korda Longshank X was based on the popular, original fly hook patterns, which found favour with carp anglers due to their shape and hooking ability – we made them much stronger and sharper.
Fast forward 20 years and DF has been tweaking this ultimate carp catcher once again.
Heavily influenced by his underwater experiences, Dan decided to make two major changes to one of his favourite patterns, making it an even deadlier option within his armoury.
The first change was to create the hook with a beaked point.
During testing, the beaked point provided more secure hook holds, increasing the hooked fish to landed ratio significantly.
The other change was to in-turn the eye even further.
The original pattern has a 20 degree in-turned eye, the new beaked version increases this to 40 degrees.
This helps the hook flip and turn extremely quickly in the carp’s mouth, ensuring consistently good hook-holds.
In keeping with the original pattern, the Longshank Beaked is forged, with a stepped-up wire gauge for extra strength, whilst maintaining its durability with a PTFE coating.

The BASIX Tackle Box has been designed to offer plenty of storage space for all your rig bits, whilst making it easy to organise and find them when you need to.
It is made from shockproof, high impact plastic, with a translucent lid to enable you to see inside.
The lid features a ruler to enable you to accurately measure your rigs and is fastened via two latch closures to prevent any chance of it coming open during transit.
