The Fox Soft Steel Fleck Camo Mono 1000m is the next advancement on what was arguably the best carp fishing line. The legendary Soft Steel line now with fleck camo colouring improving line concealment under the water to a point that it is almost undetectable to carp, yet still retaining the casting properties that made the original Soft Steel one of the best carp fishing lines on the market!
This monofilament line from Fox is extremely supple and has an low diameter to breaking strain ratio compared to other lines on the market, which both combine to make casting with this line effortless and will allow you to hit greater distances overnight. This Fox line also has low stretch compared to other mono fishing lines, which not only improves bite indication, it also helps casting as more force from the cast is transferred to the rod, which will compress the rod more and allow you to hit greater distances.
Despite the low stretch, this line is still incredibly strong and has been tested on big carp and catfish both in the UK and abroad. To give you upmost confidence when fishing this line near snags or obstacles, Fox have ensured that this fishing line has a high abrasion resistance and great knot strength, so it will not damage easily and will allow you to extract carp from even the snaggiest of swims.
