ESP Leadcore Stop Beads
The frame contains 20 beads, 10 with a large bore and 10 with a small bore with a central membrane.
The large bore bead is a perfect interference fit over the 0.5mm silicone tube supplied with the beads.
This is designed to be fished as the upper bead on the leadcore leader, so that in the event of a break off the bead can easily pop off the silicone tube under minimal pressure, and slide over the leader knot, allowing a hooked fish to rid itself of the leader. The small bore bead has a central membrane which can be pierced with a splicing needle and threaded onto the leader.
This provides a snug interference fit directly on the leadcore, which will slide down under minimal pressure.
Perfect for fishing ‘semi fixed’ chod rigs up the leader or for preventing the hook on a chod rig from coming into contact with the lead by setting the bead three or four inches up the leader. These beads allow for really neat versatile and safe setups and are available in three colours, weedy green, camo brown and choddy silt to complement the different colour blends of ESP leadcore.

Thinking Anglers Tungsten 5mm Leadcore Safety Top Bead
5mm round tungsten bead with a piece of silicone in the centre. Perfect for use as a top bead on a leadcore or lead-free Helicopter set-up as the bead pulls free of the silicone under pressure, allowing the rig to slide off the leader in the event of a crack-off or cut-off.

ESP Tungsten Loaded Beads
The trusty old ESP 5mm rubber beads have been a staple component for helicopter and chod set ups on leadcore since 1999 and now they have been given the heavyweight tungsten treatment with the introduction of Tungsten Loaded beads.
These are four times heavier than the rubber versions (the difference is really noticeable) while still remaining soft and flexible.
The three matt colours of weedy green, camo brown and silt grey complement the different ESP leadcore colours perfectly.
Designed to be mounted on leadcore on a short section of 0.5mm silicone tube which is supplied with the beads.
This provides a safe set up where the bead can come off the silicone tube and pass over the leader knot in the event of a break-off, releasing the hook link.
Each packet contains 20 beads and a length of 0.5mm silicone tube, available in weedy green, camo brown and silt grey.

Fox Edges Tungsten Line Guard Beads
These new Tungsten Line Guard Beads are designed for anglers to use directly onto naked main line.
They can be fixed up the line for use with Naked Chod Rigs, and will slide down to the Heli Buffer Sleeve that sits over your lead once a fish is hooked.
They have a handy tapered side that your swivel will sit on during the fight to ensure your naked line is not damaged when playing hard-fighting carp.
The Line Guards can also be used on traditional helicopter style set-ups too and have been designed to sit neatly on top of the Edges Heli Buffer Sleeve.
The tungsten content in each bead helps to pin them to the lakebed.
